"Updates for today- (from her dad) She is still sleeping most of the time, still
not up to visitors, Still on liquids and at best - maybe 3-4 ounces
total at each meal. She did get up for a walk twice today - 20 feet in
each direction. Twice. That's 80 feet.
Surgeon said to
her "If you can smile - you can go home today" - hard to explain the
look on Jill's face, but obviously she didn't go home. It definitely was
not a smile. Later, I actually did catch a
glimpse of a smile - twice.
She actually asked me "when can I go home".
The surgeon did say MAYBE this weekend."
