Last Monday was the 1st round of chemo.
"We" certainly had our good days and bad. We have learned that being nauseous all day, but keeping food down is what's known as a good day. Praise God, over the last 4 days - each day is better.
Blood sugar levels are out of whack. Prayers for a diet that contains food Jill likes, high in protein, low in sugars that will help her put weight on.
Sound impossible? Not for the God I serve. (Jill's dad)

Tim, Jill's dad writes on September 18th:
Jill had her surgery today to have the port put in.
The surgery went well. Rough day for her.
Having some pain and got very nauseous this afternoon.
Legitimately - complained about being stuck again.
Doing better this evening.

Today is the first day Jill felt comfortable walking in the house
without using the walker.
She had her appointment with the oncologist on Monday. She is scheduled for surgery on September 17th to have the port put in and her first day of chemo is scheduled for Monday September 21st.
We are seeing smiles on a more consistent basis.
Although we haven't declared open season on visiting, she has enjoyed the visits she has had.
